Topic: Alternate Diff Ratios for Fiat 850 based cars?

I have had seveal inquiries from people looking for alternate differential ratios.  The most common ratio 8/38 (4.88) is not to most people's liking when they increased horsepower output.

I would be interested in getting reaction what type of differential ratio might be desirable.  At first glance I would say either 8/35 (4.37) or 9/39 (4.33). 

I could have these made, similar to the 9/39 gears I had made for the Fiat 600 gearbox, but like anything else I am looking for confirmation of the need for such an item.  The miminum number of sets is 10, so it is a reasonable investment.  Retail price would be approx. $495.00 USD (350 Euro).
