OT1000 Engine designations

Hi All, I have a mistery to resolve that some of you may know right away:

What is the difference between AB202A and AB202B engine designations for OT1000 series. Was one for the coupe & the other for the spider? or was one for european cars & the other for those detined to USA?

I would appreciate any insight.  Thanks!

The literature i have shows only a 202 berlina,coupe,spider and 202/A coupe and 202/D coupe.If your not happy with your block i will certainly be happy to buy it off you : )
