Eric in Wisconsin,

Great photos and really a beautiful example of the car!  Can you tell me if it has a windshield washer fluid reservoir, what type, and where is it mounted?  Trying to figure out what belongs on my car.  Thanks,

Eric in San Diego

Hi Eric in San Diego,

I saw Merkel Weiss at a Fiat Club picnic today and he said I should give you his phone number.   I sent it to you in a Personal Message.  His 1300/124 is totally original, so you will know the answers to your questions with certainty.

Viotti600-- I defer to your greater knowledge of the subject. As I said I'm new to Abarths.

I'm curious-- what is the blue box with the silver cooling fins mounted above the radiator?  I figured that was the electronic trigger for the coil, the points in the stock distributor having been replaced by a magnetic or optical sensor.

Also, I'm confused why the alignment specs show more positive camber for the loaded car than the unloaded one, because, as you say, normally wheels go into negative camber when the suspension is compressed.

I do not know if this helps with the ignition question but I have some of the history of what was done to the car. It appears I may have both??? According to the history,
"I usually start with switch on conventional ignition and once running move it to CD ignition (less current draw when starting on conventional ignition)." I have installation instructions for a Jacobs Electonic Inc. "All contact point and electronic ignitions where coil has bolt type terminals Pro racer 8 - Blue, Pro Racer 10- Red or Mileage Master- Black...................................
Bueller? Anyone?

I look forward to your pictures Johan. There is an 850 for sale on ebay now. There is a reserve on it. But I bet it will go "fairly" cheap. I hope!
Regards,
Eric
