Looking for help please. I am researching the Monomille Scorpione and 1000 Monomille GT models and have a confusion over Tipo and Chassis numbers. I believe the Tipo number for both versions is 110. However, I have details of a '63 example for which the chassis number is reported as 1089379. Since I understand that chassis numbers for these cars were 4 digit, I'm guessing that the chassis number really is 9379 and that, maybe, early cars had Tipo number 108 attributed?
I have also found information on two more '63 examples, Tipo 110 #0353 (Scorpione - Beccaris) and Tipo 110 #0380 (1000 Monomille GT - Sibona & Basano) - just wondering if anyone here knows if the same Tipo number was in reality designated for both versions?
Any advice/guidance would be greatly appreciated.
