Title: abarth cars in showroom
Post by: guy moerenhout on January 20, 2007, 10:14:55 pm
Today we did the second try-out.
As you can see there are not yet Formula cars and our polyester body inside, the wil (must) go in too.

Also you can see the start of "Carlo's bar " .
Sure a place where you wish to sit, with a good beer !!

Having had several drinks and meals at Carlo's Bar, I must say there is something which cannot be shown on the pictures: it is the "mood" (l'ambiance") you can smell there.
In fact, with Guy, we were having a look at the period pictures of Abarth factory and showroom and we both agreed that they weren't much better than new Guy's place.

In two words, the late Carlo Abarth would have appreciated to be among us and he would also have felt the "classic Abarth smell" around the place.

Kind regards,
Manuel de MIGUEL
