Title: Oil Pressure Gauge for a A112 Engine.
Post by: kammtail on April 08, 2009, 09:23:35 pm
Hello Members,

Does anybody know what type or make of Oil Pressure Gauge I require for my Fiat 1000TC replica .
I have fitted a Autobianchi Abarth A112 Engine which has a new Electronic Oil Pressure Sender Unit fitted, I connected this to a Porsche 924 Oil Press gauge but once the engine is started the needle goes off the scale.
I have been told the sender must be matched to the Gauge ?
Any information would be a great help.

Thanks

Greg

Yes the gauge need to be a mach to the oil preasure valve. Try out some aftermarket gauges. They are sold as pair (gauge and sender) and they can do the job pretty good
