Hi-

I am the owner of the Simca 1150SS in the USA. I am the second owner of the car. The original owner bought the car directly from Abarth & C. in 1965 and imported it directly to the USA. This car has all the original paperwork from original invoice to the hand written owners manual, plus plenty of corespondence with Abarth & C. through the years of owership. The car was used as a hillclimb car through the 60's and won many championships. The original engine expired in 1969 during a hillclimb. The engine in the car now is a 1204 prepared by Tapie in France. While the original instruments are gone the rest of the car is 100% original. It is now going through an extensive restoration here in the US. The restoration will be completed in spring 2005.

I would be very happy to hear from anyone that has pictures or additional information on these cars. This is one Abarth that seems to have slipped between the cracks.

I can be reached at scott@4valve.net

Best Regards,
