I went to look at this today
is it a Tigre or a Scorpione . Grand Prix ?????
originally from Texas, now in the Los Angeles area
Vin number is 0034
no motor , no rear glass, no rear hood,
no rear tail section (were these fiberglass ?)
what is in the photos is all thats there
rust in bottom of doors
can be delivered to your shipper in Los Angeles area
I have more photos
things I need are a couple 1050cc motors to fit in my 600s, some abarth sumps and intakes and other stuff for a 600

hallo ,is it possible to give me some detail photo off the instruments .The look strange for a Lombardi car
-
The gauges look correct to me, though the switches are different - vertically-mounted individual toggle style switches, not the horizontal triple rocker switch unit (like Fiat 850 Coupe). I can just barely see what looks like the small Lombardi "fl" shield logo at the bottom/center of the speedometer & tachometer.
What do the metal ID tags in the engine bay say on them?
Anything like these?

Hi
here are all the pics I have ,
its not easy for me to get over and look at it ,
If I go back again I will need to buy it,
and I really do not have a place for it,
Did this one have anything to do with Abarth ?
thanks for your help
Dave

hallo Dave ,it had nothing to do with abarth but the instrauments look the same like a abarth but than there is abarth on it .Those are rare .The bonnet must be flat one for a abarth to.

Thanks for the information Guy
is the gearbox a stock Fiat 850 ?
or special gears ?
Stock read drum brakes ?
I do not really need it , I figured I could trade it for parts I need....
Dave

As far as I know these cars were all stock Fiat 850 running gear -- only the body was different.
-
The attached word document, -a copy of page 110 of Greg Schmidts "Fiat and Abarth Tricks" - schedules differences comparatively between Otas/ Lombardi GP/ Abarth Scorpione

Website http://home.planet.nl/~fredr079/home-en.html provides lots of information re lombardi grand prix and derivatives.

Hi D ve,
Did this car ever re-appear? I'd be interested in it, if it re-surfaces.
Cheers,
Duane

Thanks Dave, I appreciate the reply. It's a shame, I hope it went to a good home (or donated to a worthy cause). To many of these things are starting to get crushed...there's even a nice, but highly over-priced Alfa 2600 Sprint for sale here in Australia, with the seller stating his price must be met or the car will be crushed and sold for scrap!!! How these people are allowed to get their hands on such beautiful cars I'll never know.
Grant, I'll drop you an email soon...the money for the lowering blocks should have cleared by now. Would like to talk to you about the next step!
Cheers,
Duane
