Hi there!
Is there any drawings , pictures or written material, which could help to get better idea of that car.
I have found only a few photos of the car in alitalia colors. I think that car took part in Quebec rally in 1978, unfortunatly without much success.

is a 127 motor the same as the A112 motor ?
Dave

in most case it was the Brasila engine=1050 with camshaft on top .In Spain see forum there was also a 127 abarth with the A112 70HP engine ,see forum for leaflet

No, like Guy said, tthis 127 1050 engine is not the same as an A112 1050 engine. The 127 1050 is similar to Fiat 128 style (single overhead cam). The A112 1050 is like the Fiat 850 engine (overhead valves/pushrod type).

same engine was in Fiorino ,127,and lancia Y turbo also in 1300 cc in 127 sport

thank you for the information ,
which models of Fiat or Lancia had the 1050cc pushrod motor ?
were these motors only made in Italy ?
thanks
Dave

I believe the 1050 pushrod motor was only sold in the Autobianchi A112 70HP. I think there were a bit over 100,000 made.

I some country also in other models like Spain had the 70 HP in 127 abarth

Hi!
I have a 127 mk 1, and I want to upgrade it a litle to use in regularity rallies here in Portugal.
Since I can't spend too much money I' m thinking to swap the engine.
Do anyone knows if the 1.1 (from the 128) or even the 1.3 plus the 5 speed gearbox from a Lancia Delta is a bolt on swap?
And if it isn't, is it a dificult task?
Kind regards
Carlos Vaz

Fit it complete with gearbox and with some heavy nights it will be possible
-
Thanks.
This is good news... Whit the 1.3 from a Lancia Delta I will have more than 70 hp stock and a bit more whith some tweeks... and I also like the ability to meke rpm from theese engines...
Do you know any of thesse conversions?
Kind regards
Carlos Vaz

Gentlemen,
I raced in 1979 with a 127 group 2 which had been used in the french "rallycross" championship .
It was a very amazing car, very easy to drive .
I entered a rally in La Rochelle and we were 3rd of the class 1300cc of the group 2 ( together with a lot of Simca 1000 Rally 2 ) .
I recovered a photo, I try to enclose
Best regards
