Hi
Does anyone know the standard setup in the carburretor for that configuration
Main jet?
Venturi size...and visa versa
I hope some one knows

Just one?

I thought of that too. Only one DCOE40 in the A112 head. Will this work better than a 36 webber?
-
I think it will work, and by the way, i have a brand new DCOE, thats another reason........

Hi Abarthreplika, that is a very nice engine you are building! It seems similar to what I am doing. What make of intake manifold is that? I have a PBS one that I am going to try out. Do you expect to have any problems with the DCOE? I also have a DCD downdraft setup to use if the DCOE doesn't work out.
Can you tell me more about your engine? Is that an A112 engine, or just the head? What modifications and performance upgrades have you done?

Max asks important questions: My understanding is that a 40 DCOE has many things you can change such as venturi size, jets, emulsion tubes, etc, so you can't just take one from, say, your Alfa and bolt it onto your Abarth and expect it to work well. Those adjustments will depend partly on compression ratio, camshaft, and how high you plan to rev the engine.
To really get it right you have to put the engine or car on a dyno and have someone change the jets and emulsion tubes until it works well.

Hello again
I have recieved the configuration af the DCOE from Paul, he says it will work....so i dont think i have a problem.
Its a BERNI MOTORI intake manifold special made to fit in a 600 chassis, so you have room to fit a decent airfilter
Its a A2 ABARTH engine, with modified head.......all the other things is standard

You're right.
If Paul set up the carb I'm sure it'll be right.

Hello Gil
I am pleased to see that things are progressing. Good luck with the 40DCOE installation.
