Title: Saludos desde México!!
Post by: gonzalo baez on August 20, 2009, 12:51:23 am
Greetings friends, it´s been a long long time, and I´m still looking for that elusive windscreen for my car!!
I just received an e-mail asking to upload pictures, so here they go!! Mine is the ONLY FIAT Abarth 750c.c. 1959 Allemano Spider in México. There are several other Abarth models, although the Marque is very rare in this Country. My Dad bought it in 1967 and kept it ´till he passed away. My mother kept it until 1987, then sold it. I found it again in 2002 and sold my shirt to buy it. We love the car and it´s got a sentimental value that can not be described. I´m currently thinking I´m going to rebuild the engine, since it seems a valve may be sticking. My real problem is with the windshield and windshield frame which are not original. Can anybody help me? I´ve looked for it high and low all over the world , but have had no luck!!
Kind Regards!!  Gonzalo.

Hello Gonzalo,

Thanks for sharing the photos, that is a nice little exotic car!  I especially like the trim details such as the wheels and hubcaps and the turned-up bumpers.

Best regards,
Eric
