yes  fitted  with  a  Abarth kit is not a car that you see its  day the C  come now  from Corsa
Fitted  with  original very  rare Wire  wheels and som e racing stuff  is a nice part in our  Topolino  collection
We  will fit  some   special lights  and a tripmaster

from a german  collection I was  buying this car. Many Simca  5 & Topolino were in this . This  project  was  never  build up and mayby stopt in war  so now I am happy with it abd will make it ready and race it .Not in Le Mans but in hill clims
I find  somethings  very  rare in Museé   de 24 H Le Mans

Fiat Abarth 850 coupe (Gmr) / where do I begin?

Hi all
I finally have space in my garage to work. So now I am thinking about my 1972 fiat 850 sport coupe.

The floor pan is shot and there is tin worm all over the place, no surprises.

The main issue, or opportunity, is the engine is unusable. (thank you son's for taking it apart outside and not keeping all the bits!) It is incomplete and 2 of the pots are seized and damaged.

Having driven a similar car many years ago I am aware that power was not their strong point. However, in need of a new engine I am playing with ideas of an OT 1300 replica. Now, obviously this not a straight swap of powerplants, I would hope the suspension would need looking at too.( I have seen the nurberg ring videos!)

So the question is, what do you think? Anyone done this themselves?  Honest (and helpful) opinions welcomed.

I have rebuilt Landrovers, minis and aircraft in the past so I am up for a challenge.

1000 tc , radiale , replika / Abarth Shell type waterpump parts

Does anyone have information from shell type water pump mechanical seal. I afraid it's been "taken" from  more common car water pumps, Lancia, Alfa maybe?
Mine leaks and no idea where to find replacement.
Impeller side carbon seal ring dimensions are outer 38mm and inner hole 26 mm.

Hi, I'm relatively new to this forum. I have a fiat 850 sport coupe with a 100GBC engine. The engine currently is bored to 65.6mm making it 919cc with the sport type higher compression pistons. Modifications include a 296 degree camshaft, slightly ported head and a weber 36 DCD3. The car is hesitant between the 3700 to 4700 rpm range when full throttle is given and I'm blaming the carburettor. Other than that the car drives very smooth and up until this hesitation accept full throttle and after this hesitation it acceptable full throttle again. During the hesitation I need to let go slightly off the throttle. Any recommendations to what the jettings shoul be similar to ? Currently running on 25mm chokes. Should I decrease these to 23mm ?
