SerU,

What would you like to know other than the fact that obviously these bearings have had a VERY hard life?  Do you know why they failed?

I like photos like this because they stimulate the mind as to what reason there could be for this type of failure.  Was it lack of oil?  Was it improper bearing clearance?  Was it just a bad bearing?

What does the forum think?

The reason was: pedal to the metal 8) . "Almost" stock 2.0 DOHC with compresion ratio over 10:1 simply hates rotations over 7k rpm (remember this)  :oops: Rear axle ratio 4.3 and speed about 215 km/h. That was the reason. I've killed this engine   :roll: Speed record beaten but it was very expensive record :(

This engine was mounted in FSO Polonez. Now I've this engine in one of my 131 2d's :)
