Hello, Guy! I'm the webmaster of the Simca 1200 's page (we've emailed long time ago). I'll probably will go to see the rally (matter of free time, as I live in Barcelona). There wold be a tough competition, as for what I've read in the entrant's lists (do you remember who Zanini is?). Good luck and hope we will see there!
Greetings:

Didac

PD: For me, the real heros of this rally will be the motorbike teams, such a hard race, with snow and gravel, and in a classic motorbike!

PD2: There's another Abarth car in the provisional entrants list: a Lancia/Abarth Rally 037 ex works team

Hello, Guy,

I see that this event is interesting a lot of people on your forum.
I'm happy that you come with us so we form a strong MOERENHOUT/IRESA TEAM.
We will probably have some snow but for you, coming from the North, this will be no surprise.
From the entry list, it seems this can be a sort if reborn for Abarth in Spain!!
It also seems that some of your British friends are interested. But it is now too late. The organisers wanted to have 120 entrants and thy have had to stop with 170 entrants.
By the way, it is important to know that the organiser of Costa Brava Rallye is Alex Romani, co-driver of Dani Solá, Rally World Champions in Super 1600. So, he knows quite well what is all about.
Congratulations for your Forum, always interesting to read.
Kind regards,
Eric de MIGUEL

Hello, Guy.

You are right when you say that it sometimes snows in Spain. But it is in very limited areas.
So, don't be so modest and accept that you have a lot more experience than us for snow driving!!
Anyway we expect to have a lot of fun (with or without experience).
Congratulations for your forum.
Kind regards,
Eric de MIGUEL
