I have a Fiat 'waffle' intake manifold for IDF40. This can easily be cut out to 44mm. It is freshly media blasted and in excellant cond. This manifold maintains the coolant passages.

I run a set of IDF40's with 34mm venturis on a waffle manifold (BC125) but want to go up one size

try Gabriele in Italy. Huge used carb supplier.
italian.carburators@tiscali.it

He should have Italian IDF44 usually rebuilt. He has manifolds but it may be hard to find specifically for 44mm. I use an Alquati style sweptback manifold to clear my block mounted distributor and I had to cut it 44mm.
FYI even with my Idf44 I had to drop the choke down to 34 from 36 due to bogging at lower rpm .

What comperssion ratio and cam overlap are you running with your IDF44? On Mirafiori a number of people try to run 44 but went back to 40 because of bad pick-up / running of 3 cylinders @ cruise.

I have a 10.5Cr with 304deg cam IDF 40 with CBperformance venturi's of 34mm. Manifold and inlet ports are ported to 37 - 36mm. Pick-up and torque is very strong from 1200 - 1500, no flat spot or anything.

I have 10:1 compression
oversize valves, ported and polished head, lightened crank and pulleys, camshafts are: intake seat to seat 5-53 dur, 238 deg, lift 10.6mm. Exhaust seat to seat42-82 , 304 dur, lift 10.6mm, overlap about 47 deg.
I kept the mild intake to preserve bottom end power and torque and will still rev to 7000 rpm
With your 304 deg cams and 36 choke 44s, you will have bogging until higher rpms but the only thing to do is try and have your 34 on hand.
IDF44 will run great if set up properly
