Hello everybody. I'm SerU and I'm form Wroclaw/Poland.
Some time ago I've bought 1977 Fiat 131 Special 2 door wich is a rare model here in Poland. Condition of this car was realy dramatic. Rust everywhere-even on roof. The worst thing was, that there are no spare body parts available for this model in Poland. I had to reconstruct all parts by myself. It took me abot 4 moths and I've done it all by myself in my small garage near Wroclaw-everythig: bodywork, painting and so one...Here you can see some of most dramatic pictures from this work.

There was no way to repair roof, so I repalce it with one taken from 4 door version :)

Final product looks like this:

I also have 1957 Fiat 600 with original paint and almost perfect body condition :)

I'm going to rebiuld this car in 2005

The funniest thing is that last saturday I've bought next car :)
It is also 1977 Fiat 131s 2d and I'm going to build an Abarth replica based on this car :D

Here are first fotos of this car :) I love those Twins :D

Forgive me quality of those last 3 photos-it was getting dark :D

First of all I must say that there is very hard to find ANY 131 2 door here in Poland. Best words are: it's impossible :D I had just luck. Find two 131 2dr Special in one year that's a miracle. The prices weren't high even for me (Poland-most of polish people earnings are at level about 300 Euros-paranoia   ). The first one costed about 230 Euros, the second was a bit more expensive - 270 Euros. Condition of the first one was really dramatic, second is in better condition but also needs to be rebuild.

It's possible to find 131 diesel but only in 4 door version or as a Panorama. I've never heard about 2 dr with diesel engine in Poland.

BTW what are the prices of 77' 131 Special 2dr in Europe. I know, that is a rare model but I'd like to know that...Maybe some day I decide to sell one of mine :) And how much might be worth original '57 Fiat 600 in almost perfect body condition?

And by the way of grill: orange 2 dr has a strange one? From which version comes this grill?? I've never seen grill like this before.

Happy New Year for all Abarth-GMR forum users :)
