did you sell that carb?
I have never seen that type of intake manifold. I only know those alloy manifolds...
Have you photos of that on Abarth-type cars? on what models (in which year) was it mounted?

Can you tell me anything about the idling of those carbs on derivazione 750 berlinas?

thanks a lot!
I'm looking for original Abarth parts for my Fiat 500 and Fiat 600 (want to build a derivazione 750).

please email me, if you want to sale... Thank you!

Yes, it has already been sold & shipped to its new owner.

The steel intake manifolds like this were often used on the Zagato 750GT (Double Bubble), Allemano 750 Spider & probably other Abarth 750 Derivazione cars like the Viotti 750, Vignale/Nardi 750, etc.. I've seen several Zagato 750 & Allemano 750 cars myself with this same manifold, & all 3 Zagato/Allemano 750's I've owned in the past had it, as well. Used mostly on mid/late-1950's cars, from what I've seen.

The original Abarth 750 Derivazione parts booklet shows the steel manifold (listed as part #112), as do a few Abarth 750 Berlina sales brochures.

Same Weber 32IMPE carb as used on the coachbuilt 750's, it idles just fine. ;)

Here are some photos of various Abarth 750 cars with this manifold:

The large Abarth 750 parts display board as seen at various mid/late-1950's auto shows:

A couple other carb/manifold sets like the one I had for sale:

Hello Jeff,

thank you for your good information!
Probably you have read that I want to build a derivazione 750 engine for my early Fiat 600 Jagst using original parts if available. And therefore I am happy about every information about it. I do not want to make too many mistakes.

as I now have seen, I used a wrong english word so you did not understand:
I wrote:

But I meant: Can you tell me anything about the jetting of those carbs on derivazione 750 berlinas?

I have a 32 IMPE from a Fiat 1100 and i really do not know what jetting was used by ABARTH.
exspecially I would like to know what venturi was used, what main jet, air correction jet and mixing tube... For shure the other jets would be interesting, too. I would be happy to find more information about it.

referring to that steel intake manifold: if on those early cars was that steel manifold, on which cars was that alloy manyfold: http://img3.annuncicdn.it/42/4e/424e099d8d12be0353ffc3d22d0e503e_big.jpg [nofollow]
