Hello from New Zealand! - new to the forum

Well here is something special! This was found hiding under a tarp on the very wild salty coast of Wellington. I believe that this is the only one modified to look like this in the world. but I am uncertain. I don't know much about it at all really. However it has been raced and modified quite highly, 1000cc engine maybe?

I am restoring this at the moment as the salt was too much for body to handle.

Does anyone have any information on it?

It looks like a Fiat 850 Bertone coupe with a modified front.

I have minimal photo's at the moment as it is in the rust shop.

But once it is back I shall be doing a build thread.

Researching it at the moment and believe the builder hand crafted everything forward of the front windscreen. Abarth suspension and all.

I guess most of us have recognized the Fiat 850 coupe second series rear.
The builder has done a nose job, .

It would be nice to see restoration pictures and learn a bit more.

A very special car indeed!!
Somebody did a nice job with the nose.
My first thought was that it was some kind of Le Mans car. The modified nose and at the first photo I thought I
saw also a longer tail end, but it is the original 850 coupé backend.

I hope you will have a lot of fun with restoring this 850 and keep us informed about the progress.
