OTR 1000 Reliability?
« on: June 04, 2012, 11:06:55 pm »
Hi,

I am thinking about acquiring a Fiat Abarth 850 coupe/1000 OTR.But I am wondering about the reliability of the Radiale engine.I can't find a lot of info on the internet about these engines, other then it's a complicated engine.
Anybody has experience with such an engine?
Is it suited for endurance races/rallies?
Any parts like the Radiale head that fails quickly or can't stand high revs for long?
Can it still be rebuilt when it brakes ?Can GMR rebuilt these engines?

Tx for your help

its possible to build our  rebuild this engine if you have one. Its very expencief. Otherwish is mayby good for you to go for a PBS  head on a A112 Abarth engine . This will be stronger and safer for long uns our rally.A good OTR  engine is OK but if you have problems !!!
