Hello Fred, you really are a teacher for all of us.
This year, the Fiat 850 is 50 years old and also of course the legendary ot 1600.
The factory Abarth was in "corso marche 38" turin. I used google-earth street view, the factory still exists, only a small portion is occupied by abarth today. I do not understand why the Fiat killed a brand so important in the history of the automobile.

That's absolutely wright. Thanks for reminding us about that!
In the Netherlands we've got also a nice 850 forum and I suggest there to organize a meeting especially for the 850.
You can watch this forum at www.via850.nl/forum at "projecten" you can see other 850's

Seriously folks, is there anything he can't do?!?

Hey Fred, have ever thought about a new career? :-)

Really amazing work. Can't wait to see the car running. Those old track test articles you've posted make it sound like a great car to drive!

Cheers, Toby

Thank you, Toby, for the compliment, but with simply thinking you can make a lot of parts yourself.
A new career?! No, I'm a science teacher and I've got a lot of free time to do this.
Now it's fun to do and when it will be my work you must do some stuff, because people are waiting for their parts.

Hopefully the car is ready for the Abarth meeting in june 2014
