750 Zagato Series 3 Windshield Mounting Fixtures
« on: March 25, 2009, 08:05:36 pm »
In response to a private inquiry about how windshields fixtures look on a 750 Zagato, I have the following photos. Car is a USA specification, late model. I believe that it is referred to as series 3. I will post another comment as I have taken 18 photos in all. this car has been untouched since 1969 and appears that it has never had the windshield removed.

Here is the second batch of photos. I have taken pics of the screws used ,4 for bottom alumminum moulding (3 long, far left is short), 9 for top window moulding plus 3 for mirror, arranged in order that they were removed, mirror screws are short ones at centre arranged in triangle. Right on top of top alumminum moulding was the rearview mirror, held on by 3 screws. Windshield has a smallish rubber moulding arround it (u- shaped, it appears), and both trims had rubber moulding as pictured. Please let me know if you have any further questions.
