FOR SALE-ABARTH SCORPIONE CORSA PROTOTIPO
« on: October 06, 2008, 11:10:40 pm »
Hi Everyone,
Whilst flicking through the Oct '08 edition of "Classic &
Sports Car" (the english publication)I stumbled upon this in the
classified section:

"ABARTH SCORPIONE CORSA PROTOTIPO Unique hillclimb special, 2ohc
1280cc, approx 125bhp. Mint restored & very quick. 22,500(pounds)
Full details, simonpark@lineone.net "

I know there are alot of devotees to the lombardi/otas/scorpione
family and just thought you may like to know.

Cheers,
Toby.

Probably the car in the attached photos.
There was a good , nicely illustrated and quite detailed background article on it by Simon Park in AutoItalia about a year ago .

There is a little scam going on on a couple of websites I have noticed. Quite a few people are offering cars for sale they don't have in their possession.
There is a big mark-up involved.

This is the same car [nofollow]
