Now does one present to me a problem, I cannot register the car in Spain, I lack the password of homologation, Someone of you has or 131 might obtain the password of homologation of the fiat abarth stradale?
It would be very sad to throw 3 years of hard work and not to be able to register the car. Thank you.

Hii supperb job Joan,

I guess they are asking you for the FISA homologation passport ? usually for VHC racing registration you need to ask for that passport while you reconstruct the car,  however if you do not have the original papers from a 131 abarth wreck I beleive it will be really difficult to get it through..at least that is the sorts of problems we have in France !

All my support
Simon

you must not do homologation like a 131 Abarth. In the FIA papers from a 131 Racing are the wingextentions, injektion etc all in .Beter say that it is a 131 Racing group 2

Hii Guy,
that is really interesting, so the idea is to build a 131 racing group 2, and homologuate it like that in FISA / VHC ? Does enyone has the homologation specification details of a 131 Racing GR 2 ?
Just for fun this week end I am going to see two 131 racing for sale, still road going with all their legal Franch papers..If you are sure that we can homologate them in VHC GR2 I certainly will get one for a future project !
Anyone with 131 GR2 autentic photos ? please do post them..its always nice to look at the paintings scheme.
Have fun,
Simon

Hello,
which papers do you have, can you share them with us ? what is the extent of the modifications that can be done on a 131 Racing GR2 ?
Thank you for your contribution in advance,
Simon

hello all,

i have been working on a similar project over the past few months. FIAT RACING 2000 modified for group top homologate FIA.  i had the car scrutineered here in switzerland and all the documents went to FIA (after having paid 300 euros for the form).

the car has not been accepted; here a few things NOT to do when building a Gp 2:  do not fit a ABARTH replica body kit, the front hood does not have a bonnet, no roof spoiler, no rear spoiler and your car has to have bumpers!! which are gone when you fit a body kit. do not fit a carburettor kit with two IDFs, only same number and system as original, this means when you have one 34downdraft, you can mount one 40 downdraft on a inlet manifold same as original. you should have your tank filled with foam, sometimes this will be checked.

even if I found an interesting modelcar, seems that armin schwarz drove a 131 racing in the german championship, hunsrueck rally. but if a show a modelcar to the FIA as proof of history, hhhmmmh

Yes thank you it is great, super.
I do not understand why our friend Naegeli in Switzerland does not get throught with side draft carbs !! as it seems (could not read everthing clearly due to copy quality)  that dry sumps and mechanical injection was accepted in GR 2 spec sheets...On the other end scourging on the net I could find pictures of 131 racing in rally with roof wing and rear hood wing ?? I beleive they are photo from recent rally and that they are not homologated into VHC..I am concluding that it is really really hard to find 131 racing GR2 original race photos ! could not even find one on the net these last few days. So if someone would be kind enaught to post some, it would be a great help for us in our pilgrimage of homologation of 131 Racing GR2 in VHC.
Thank for your help in advance
Simon

Hi Guy, I recently adquired this cylinderhead of fiat 131 Abarth ¿Gr4?.
Let me know if you have the intake manifold for about 44 IDF weber-vertical-and they can cost, thanks.
