Topic: Grommets Wanted - FIAT 850 coupe, Abarth OT OTR OTS

I'm looking for the grommet that sits near the fuel filler and also the grommet on the firewall through which the power lead from the battery passes.  The picture shows the grommets needed.

Have you tried Chris Obert?  You should have part numbers if you can. If he doesn't have the grommets, he has contacts in Italy.  You might also try asking on the Fiat 850 Yahoo newsgroup forum.  (Do a Google search if you don't know this).  I don't know many of the European supplers, but there is http://www.850fiat.de/.  Oh, and there is also "hecgre" on ebay in the US.  He sells a lot of grommets and rubber pieces, mostly 600 stuff, but some 850.  If he doesn't know, he may know where to get it.

Graeme,As you know i have still parts from 30 of these cars.If its no rush i will give you both grommets for free when i do a big spring sale towards the end of the year.Most of the parts in Australia will go in the scrap bin or to Amsterdam.Grant

Hey, here is another sot who used a piece of wire to hold his transmission in place just like me.  And then I looked a little closer and realized it was my car!

Mike,I also hung my gearbox with wire off the OT 1300/124 engine bay when freighting from Europe to Australia.Great minds think alike or small minds ....?(made sense at the time)
