By my mistake in acquisition, I became aware that some versions of the 600 dashpod instument have a temperature GAUGE that is integral, that is NOT separable from the main instrument casing, while others have a gauge that can readily substituted for the warning light.     Trevor

I found the same thing as Trevor. I bought a Seat 600 gauge unit specifically because it had the temp gauge in it - I was hoping to be able to remove just the temp gauge part & install it in my Abarth 750 Berlina gauge housing. Unfortunately, the Seat 600 temp gauge was integrated into the whole housing (not removeable). I sold the Seat 600 unit & found a Fiat 600 accessory temp gauge (on eBay) that swapped into the Abarth housing (replacing the original temp warning light part). I did the same thing on my Viotti 600. The temp gauge accessory was made by Veglia.

For cars that are actually DRIVEN (not just a trailer queen), the temp gauge is much more practical than just the old warning light. :)
