Hello from a newbie in the States
« on: January 18, 2008, 03:26:30 am »
Recently i was in Milan, where i was met by an old friend who restores Fiats as a hobby.  It didnt take long for me to fall in love with one of his and i'll be taking posession of it in the summer.  Its a 124 Abarth ralley version.  But for 25 years i've been in love with the 131 and will continue to search for the right one.  This is why i joined here to find here.

Hello to all from Chicago

Yes, I've been looking at your collection with my mouth wide open but i'm a little surprised at the prices i'm seeing and with the dollar taking a bath in the Euro's waste water i think i'll keep searching over here, maybe i'll find someone who doesnt know what they have or doesnt care.  There is a Fiat Brava not far from here, 4 door, 40k miles on it and very clean for $4,500.00  and maybe i can convert it to an Abarth clone.  Just wouldnt know where to start to get the parts.  Anyway, i love your collection and whats worse is i was in Brussles this past Jan 3rd and if i would have known your existance i would have come to see them in person.  its ok, i know now and i'll be back in Belgium again soon.

Do you have any posters of the 131 Abarth you would sell?  i love your blue one and your orange one.
