what kind of motor?

I think I have seen this before....It has an Audi (or VW Group motor) 1800cc with turbo. Easy to tune one of these 20VT up to 300-400hp considering that stock are 150-210hp

It may be interesting, but obviously the driver does not value is own safety.  I cannot see how the battery is held in place?  Duct tape?  Also how about that steel pressure bottle next to the driver?  Imagine what these two items would do to the driver in case of a rollover?

To my eye on my monitor I think those are strips of silver sheet metal that are holding the battery. And I think that upon close examination the pressure bottle is held by two dark-painted steel straps.

the car have a  vw group 1.8 16v engine  stock  was  150 bhp he changed a turbo intercooler  a sole exaust maniflod  larger injectors and bigger iveco   intercooler   the rollcage is homemade   the car is racing in 402 m   /   1/4 mile sprints  an as i remember car was going around 11,9 s
