AEW Newsletter Issue 06 – 28 February 2007

Good day Abarth enthusiasts,

Hopefully you have all been waiting for this new issue of the newsletter to appear.
The reactions on the last one were very encouraging and to be honest that makes
spending time on the AEW easier. We received new information, suggestions,
questions etc, which will make their way to the newsletter and www.aewsite.com
in due time.

Over the past few weeks a lot of work has been done behind the scenes, most of
which is probably not visible to the naked eye. One of the big jobs was transferring
the AEWsite to a new server. This might sound like an easy task, but in the end it
took a lot of effort from members Chris Shoemaker and Pawel Sokolowski to
transfer everything, make all the information available again and also arrange the
paperwork involved in domain names etc.
Georganne Sahaida updated the database and helped several of you to fully enjoy
the website and forum. Still, we are not sure if all the email-addresses in our
database are up-to-date, so please contact AEW members around you to see if they
received this newsletter. Next up will be updating and improving the website, which
we hope to do in the next few months.

webchef reKupnet:

We have decided to run a limited “Parts and Cars” listing in the next newsletter.
The last Parts and Cars-listing dates from a long time ago and because the forum
hasn’t come up to speed, we have decided to offer the possibility to place a (small)
ad in the newsletter. Currently we are working out new ideas to improve the forum
and hopefully we can introduce the improved forum in the next few months, which
will than offer a good place for your ads. If you want your ad to appear in the next
newsletter in April 2007, send it to the newsletter email-address.
Please provide your name, contact information, location (country and/or province)
and a short description of the article you have for sale. You can mention a price, but
please remind that the AEW is a worldwide club when stating the currency and
contact information. Of course the Parts and Cars listing is not only meant for
selling products, but also the place when you are looking for specific parts or a
restoration project.
