Wanted Fiat Brakes and Rear Wings etc etc...
« on: December 28, 2006, 03:21:37 pm »
Hi,

I am looking for some decent brake discs, and calipers to fit onto my Zastava 750S, anyone know what would be best?

Also the wide rear arches to fit bigger wheels under - any ideas?

I am actually at the beginning of this, my first project and trying to "Abarthise" the 750S, so any advice would be useful.

I don't have a lot of cash, so the cheapest way will usually be the best ;)

Many thanks!

Scott

By the way I am based in the Netherlands.

Check out    http://www.scorpioneabarthparts.nl/index2.htm

They have the biggest list of parts I have found so far.
For brakes I think most people use Fiat 850 Coupe or Spider front discs and calipers. The rears are not as important, but I'm told you can fit Fiat 124 rear discs if you want to.

Heres' a photo of 850 discs on a 600

Hallo Scott,

Als je niet gaat racen, zou ik achter trommels houden en voor schijfremmen zoals eerder aanbevolen.
De balans is prima en je hoeft geen aanpassingen te doen.

Succes met vriendelijke groeten, Vincent.

Thanks Guy - I had no idea there was such a choice of interchangeable parts.

Do you know of a list of interchangeable parts - does such a thing exist? Maybe it could be published on your site?

Anyway - I had better start saving!

Thanks again,

Scott

Another cheap solution is to make your own adapter plate to fit the brake caliper you want. If you use Fiat 850 spindles will be th best solution in my opinion, but it might take some time to find them.

Peter,
In my opinion leave the rears alone, just Ferodo pads and Brembo discs (or EBC pads) at the rear if you must an hydralic handbrake.
I do not believe FIA will pass vented fronts, they cannot !,but FIVA might. For FIA use group 4 homalagted Osca 3 spot Girlings.
