Pictures of the Abarth 750GT bumperettes
« on: September 25, 2006, 07:00:10 am »
Hi fellow double bubble lovers,

I have found a guy with spare rear bumperettes, but only the right (passenger) side. needless to say that I will get a set of them. However, he has two kinds, where the shape is slightly different (see attached pic). Could anybody send a picture (Preferably from "all four angles") of them, also the front if you have since I plan to have them remanufactured for my car.

Also, any insights if I can "remanufacture' the left side from a rigth side bumperette?

My email is michaelabaum@gmail.com.

Thanks a lot for your help.

Hi, Mike,

My understanding is that those cars were hand made, and  their exact shape depended on which workman was involved (and how much wine he had had for lunch?),  So items like bumperetts will vary considerably in the details of their shape.

I would imagine that the left side item would be the mirror image of the right one.

I think the car looks better without these.
What can I test for you?
