this year there is a demo rally for 30 historic cars that are driven before the normale rally .

the Seats form Iresa Spain will be there with 2 cars.I will take part with a 124 abarth gr 4 and my son in law(erik  Vlaisoir) with his 124 abarth .My friend and ex Polisch rally champion Marek Sadowski with a Lada gr 2 and mayby some other drivers form abarth squadra storica will take part.This is a demo rally    4x 4 special stages form +- 10 km saterdag  training and sunday driving   see newbielink:http://www.shrt.be [nonactive] for info

hallo friends ,the best is when you wish to eat in l'auberge(fantastic food) for dinner (like I do because I stay also there) is to make a reservation because it will be full on saterday night .The news is also that whe start at 9 h (not 7) and the are tree special stages not four.Francorchamps will be -+18 km  (special stage) the 2 others  _ + 12 km each   4 times to go

FORWARD SCHEDULE FOR THE RALLYE
BOUCLES DE FRANCORCHAMPS 2006
28 AND 29 OCTOBER 2006

Regularity rallye for historic cars from 1950 to 1986 in order with the driving licence of each origin country, and in order with insurance.

Classification by cubic capacity and age

3 categories have been decided :

1) EXPERT   (49 M/h and T/I – allotted time) on the circuit and on closed roads

2) MARATHON : up to 49,99 M/h

3) TOURING ACCOMPAGNANTS (only on the 28th of october and no classification tour, but present on the circuit for the big final)

System of electronic timing on board like car’s “tour de France”, with RIS insurance.

This rallye will take place on OPEN and CLOSED roads, as well as on the SPA FRANCORCHAMPS Circuit.

We will cross 3 different countries : BELGIUM, GERMANY and HOLLAND for a total of +/- 560km.

PROGRAMME

28th of october :  +/-  300 km
Start in SPA FRANCORCHAMPS with 6 regularity tests (one around the circuit on CLOSED roads) and (one “SHOW” tour on the Circuit).

29th of october :  +/- 260 kms
Start in SPA FRANCORCHAMPS with 9 regularity tests (5 ES on Circuit and around the Circuit on CLOSED roads)

BIG FINAL :
Everybody together on the Circuit (free and without chrono, JUST FOR FUN...)

Each special with chrono will be different



Road books :  signpost by meter :  O=> (we don’t want to loose anyone !!) However, for the “experts” they will have one ore more different regularity zones for the navigation (see rules to be published later)

We choosed the nicest roads of the EUREGIO (Belgium / Germany / Holland = ex “3 frontières)

We tried as much as possible not to cross the villages and the main roads.

The complete rules will be published on our website around the 20th of april 2006.

To garanty a friendly athmosphere, we only will accept 80 teams.

The inscriptions will be closed at the 80th inscription form and latest on the 20th of september 2006 for an efficient organisation.

We will come back later for more details regarding the organisation and full programm of this rallye.

Last but not least, we will propose a special programm to the ladies (thermalism and gastronomy in 3 different areas) ....
