i would not use the group 3 extensions but in the end you must decide by yourself.
could you not build it back into the original stradale look???

I find it not need to rebuild back the wings ends and place a polyester extention on it like the stradale .And by the way its a Rally ,and it had in my opinion a rallylife behind him(our parts)
