Abarth Multipla 1000 TC
« on: January 16, 2006, 03:25:22 am »
I know there is no such thing but I really want to make one.  The thought of an A112 engine also would be nice.  I only have a couple Fiat 500's because they are much easier to get here in the US.

Do any of you guys know if anyone has ever attempted to make such a ridiculous thing or might I be the first?

Cheers,
Rev.

Would the rear fender flares and lower door parts that you find like this work?

I would like to put the wide 6 or 7 inch wheels on it.  It would make a rather mean looking multipla.

Cheers,
Rev.

I also wanted to add that this is the best site I have found about Abarth's and it is full of so much information that it makes it hard to decide what to do with my 500's or whether or not I want to build something else.  I am loving it.

Thanks,
Rev

you must first fit your wheels ,because the front suspention  from a multipla is from a fiat 1100 .The wheels have not to many place to turn ? Take care of this our you must change body under doors .Go for max 6x13  front rear no probleme and you  have place for the TCR shape wings

the front suspention  from a multipla is from a fiat 1100.

With that in mind, are there any performance suspension or disc brakes for the 1100 series?  I am now thinking this could be a great candidate for the Mongol Rally.

Thanks,
Rev.
